Model details
A compact ribbon microphone for cabinets, drum overheads and instruments. The switchable in-line preamp offers extra output when the recording preamp has limited gain, while passive mode retains a direct transformer output. Figure-eight pickup includes the room behind the microphone, making placement part of the sound rather than simply an isolation choice. The +dB mode requires phantom power for its active stage; passive VT operation does not, and that mode should be selected before patching.
Typical uses: Guitar cabinets · Drum overheads · Brass and strings
