SACRAMENTO SOUND SOLUTIONS

Built around the work.
And the people who do it.

SSS brings together live production experience, practical audio education, and local partnerships to support artists, venues, churches, and event organizers across Sacramento and surrounding communities.

HOW THE COMPANY STARTED

A response to real demand.

Josh Greene and Rebecca Sleeth founded Sacramento Sound Solutions in 2023 after repeated calls for audio engineers, often at short notice. They built a team to cover those shows and provide continuing support for local venues.

Before becoming an adjunct professor, Josh developed a relationship with American River College’s Recording and Music program and began selecting and mentoring promising student engineers for venue work. That connection between education and professional shows helped shape the SSS team.

Today, clients can book an engineer for an existing system, arrange rentals and technical support, or bring multiple services together in one production plan.

MEET THE FOUNDERS

Engineering, production & education.

Rebecca Sleeth

Cofounder · House engineer · Stage manager

Rebecca works as a house engineer and stage manager across Sacramento-area venues, including Goldfield Roseville, Powerhouse Pub in Folsom, and other local stages.

Her work includes mixing performances and coordinating with artists and venue crews, from load-in and soundcheck to stage activity during the show.

Josh Greene

Cofounder · Audio engineer · Educator

Josh served as A1 audio engineer for the Sacramento Kings and Golden 1 Center. He is an adjunct professor at American River College, where he teaches MUSM 306 Live Sound Reinforcement.

His teaching starts with acoustics and signal flow, then connects them to microphone placement, system setup, and live mixing. The same practical approach guides SSS training for bands, churches, and venue teams.

OUR LOCAL PARTNERSHIP

SSS & Skip’s Music.

Our relationship with Skip’s Music began long before the production partnership. Josh worked in its pro audio sales and rental departments and learned production through years of work with Skip Maggiora. Rebecca has taught bass and coached musicians in Skip’s Stairway to Stardom program.

Today, SSS coordinates production and provides the crews for events delivered through the partnership. We help clients arrange rental equipment, delivery, setup, show operation, and load-out, with backline and full production support planned around the event.
