CEREMONY TO RECEPTION

One production plan for each part of the day.

Tell us how the day will flow and where each moment will happen. We work with the planner, venue, and entertainment providers to plan sound coverage, microphone needs, music cues, lighting, and setup times.

Ceremony and reception spaces may need different setups. We review the layout, guest count, available power, and venue restrictions so equipment and crew responsibilities can be agreed before the wedding.

Book a band or DJ through SSS, or bring entertainment you have already arranged. We coordinate their equipment needs with the rest of the production and confirm who will handle music, announcements, and cues.

Ceremony sound
Microphones for vows, the officiant, and readings, with sound for live musicians or recorded music. We plan placement and cues around the ceremony layout.
Cocktail hour & reception
Sound for music, entrances, speeches, and toasts. Share the timeline and any moves between spaces so we can plan coverage and transitions.
Book a band or DJ
You can book a band or DJ through SSS. Tell us the couple’s music preferences, the schedule, and whether announcements or MC duties are needed. We confirm the entertainment, scope, and availability for your date.
Live band support
Sound systems, monitor mixes, engineers, and backline support for booked musicians. We work from the band’s equipment requirements and coordinate setup and soundcheck.
Lighting & staging
Lighting for the performance and reception, with staging where needed. We discuss the desired look, available space, and venue requirements before proposing a setup.
Recording & livestreaming
Audio recording, camera coverage, and livestreaming can be discussed as part of the production. Share the moments to capture, desired deliverables, and any existing photo or video team so responsibilities are clear.

What should a planner send for a quote?
Start with the date, venue, approximate guest count, ceremony and reception locations, and the services you need. A draft timeline is useful; it does not need to be final.
Can you work with vendors we have already booked?
Yes. Share the venue contact and DJ or band details. We review what each vendor is supplying and agree on equipment, setup, soundcheck, announcements, and cue responsibilities.
What if the wedding uses several spaces?
Tell us where the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place, including any outdoor areas. We review access, power, coverage, and the time available between events. Include the venue’s rain-plan location if applicable.
Do we need to know which equipment to request?
No. Describe the moments, spaces, and experience you want to support. We can work through the technical requirements with you and the venue. Your quote confirms the equipment, crew, schedule, and services included.
