Give a close drum microphone or vocal a more deliberate dynamic shape. B-Series Dynamics combines peak-sensing feedback compression with a gate/expander, making it useful when you want to work on both the hit and what sits between hits. A detector filter reduces bass-driven pumping, and a dedicated DS setup provides another option for vocal sibilance.
