Model details

An instrument condenser for acoustic guitar, piano, cymbals and ensemble recording. Its low-cut choices help control rumble or proximity effect, while the pad accommodates louder close-miked sources. Its cardioid pattern and 20 Hz–20 kHz response suit detailed instrument capture without relying on a strongly voiced response. Use a phantom-powered microphone input and choose the low-cut setting for the source rather than applying it automatically to piano or other full-range instruments.

Typical uses: Acoustic guitar · Drum overheads · Piano and ensembles
