Model details
A close-miking dynamic microphone voiced for kick drums and bass instruments. Its integrated swivel mount supports placement at a kick-drum port or in front of a bass cabinet. The supercardioid pattern helps concentrate on the drum or cabinet, while its 20 Hz–10 kHz response suits low-end weight with a defined attack. It connects by XLR without phantom power; port size, air movement and distance should be considered when choosing an inside or outside position.
Typical uses: Kick drum · Bass cabinet · Low-frequency percussion
