Model details
A passive ribbon microphone for guitar cabinets, brass, overheads and other recording sources. Its figure-eight pattern captures sound from both sides, so the room and the microphone’s rear-facing pickup become part of the placement decision. The 20 Hz–16 kHz range supports instrument body without the pronounced top-end lift of some condensers. It connects by XLR without phantom power; preamp gain and distance should be planned around the source level and the amount of room sound desired.
