Model details

Use two LUMIX GH7 bodies for coordinated wide and close shots. Their 5.8K 4:3 open-gate mode leaves room to make widescreen and vertical versions from a shot. A separate 5.7K internal ProRes RAW HQ mode gives the grade more latitude; internal ProRes 422 HQ supports an efficient edit. The activated ARRI LogC3 option helps match compatible footage shot in LogC3 on ARRI cameras, while V-Log supports a LUMIX log workflow. Match exposure and color references across the other camera angles for a cohesive grade. These are distinct recording options chosen for the deliverable, frame rate and media, not simultaneous formats. With a Panasonic DMW-XLR2 adapter, the GH7 can also record 32-bit float audio when the microphones and inputs are set correctly.

Typical uses: Multicamera concert films · Artist EPK sessions · Interviews and presentation coverage
