Model details
Bring a full-bodied tube voice to vocals, acoustic guitar or a close-miked cabinet. The Horizon’s fixed-cardioid pickup, tube circuit and custom output transformer make it a characterful tracking option, while its high output and selectable pads let the engineer adapt it to the source. Use the −10 or −20 dB setting for stronger signals, then set preamp gain around the performance. The Horizon operates through its dedicated supply and 7-pin microphone cable; the supply’s standard XLR output feeds the recording preamp.
Typical uses: Vocal and voice recording · Guitar cabinet capture · Acoustic instrument tracking
