Model details
Shape tone with the passive EQ design behind the Hazelrigg VLC and D.W. Fearn VT-5. The DLC combines a 6072A tube input stage, a hand-wound inductor and transformer-coupled input and output.
Independent boost and cut controls create broad, interacting curves: add low-end weight, open the top or soften an edge. Use one on a vocal or instrument, or a pair for stereo sources, stems and mixes, with each channel adjusted independently. Paired DVA preamps and DNE compressors can complete a stereo recording or hardware-processing chain.
Typical uses: Vocal and instrument tone shaping · Stereo stem and mix EQ · Complete stereo hardware chain
