Model details
A dynamic microphone voiced for low-frequency instruments. Its shaped response emphasizes bass weight and upper-frequency attack for kick drums and bass cabinets. It is a voiced close-miking choice rather than a neutral measurement microphone, useful when a kick or bass source should read clearly in a dense mix. The cardioid capsule connects by XLR without phantom power; position and distance determine the final balance of low end and attack.
Typical uses: Kick drum · Floor tom · Bass cabinet
