Model details
Two capsules provide distinct kick-drum signals from one microphone position. The hypercardioid dynamic element and cardioid condenser can be routed to separate channels and blended for attack and body. A compatible five-pin breakout cable is required to access the two elements independently; the condenser path also requires phantom power. Confirm the breakout cable included with the rental. Separate gain and processing on the console let the engineer choose a dynamic-heavy live sound or a more detailed blend for recording.
Typical uses: Kick drum · Low-frequency percussion · Two-channel drum capture
