Model details
The JDI uses a Jensen transformer to turn an unbalanced instrument feed into a balanced microphone-level signal without a battery or phantom power. The input/thru arrangement lets a keyboard, active bass or other instrument feed the console and an amplifier together. Pad, ground-lift and polarity controls aid integration, with a speaker-level mode that must be wired according to Radial’s instructions.
Typical uses: Active bass or keyboard DI · Transformer isolation for instrument feeds · Parallel console and amplifier feeds
