Model details
The 166XL adds analog compression, expansion/gating and a separate PeakStop limiter to two channels or a linked stereo pair. Adjustable attack and release, an Auto option and selectable OverEasy response let it handle vocal leveling, instrument dynamics or a stereo bus. Balanced XLR/TRS connections and sidechain inserts integrate it with console insert points or a studio line-level patch.
