Alpha Labs De-Feedback is software that processes live vocal microphones to help achieve more gain before feedback while reducing room reverb and background noise. SSS rents a rack-mounted system that runs the software and connects to your sound system.

Use it on individual speech or vocal channels, including singers performing with a band. We assess choir microphones and shared vocal groups during soundcheck. It is designed for vocals rather than instruments or a full music mix. During setup, we check microphone and speaker placement, system delay, and how much level you can use before feedback.

Where an evaluation can help.

Club lead vocal

Listen with your lead singer, vocal microphone, monitors and main PA at the positions used for a show. Check vocal tone and monitor response alongside the band’s stage volume.

Church speech and worship vocals

Try it on the pastor’s microphone or a worship vocalist’s channel through the church’s installed system. Assess shared vocal groups and choir microphones during soundcheck.

Meeting presenter

Use the presenter’s speaking positions and normal delivery to compare intelligibility across the audience area, including any required recording or remote-listener feed.

At rehearsal or soundcheck, we connect the rack to your system and compare the vocal sound with processing on and off at matched listening levels.

We check speech clarity, vocal tone, room pickup and monitor response with your presenter or singer. We listen for any change in the vocal sound as well as the improvement in clarity.

RIG & SUPPORT

Choose the help you need.

Rent the rack for your own operator, or add delivery, setup, and an SSS engineer. We help plan the connections to your mixer and PA and include the signal and power leads the rig needs.

The rack includes a CyberPower CP500PFCRM1U battery-backup unit. Backup runtime depends on the connected load and battery condition.
