The Hazelrigg DVA combines a tube microphone-preamp input stage derived from the Hazelrigg VLC and D.W. Fearn VT-2 family with solid-state make-up gain in a 500-series module. Its single 6072A tube, transformer-coupled input and output, and approximately 60 decibels of total gain provide a tube-based front-end option for recording.
